There's something oddly empty about Wild Life finale episode, plot wise and on video. I understand it was meant to be scary chaotic with all the wildcards going on and off, and then dramatic end with "make it wild". But then... what????

After all the wild cards were gone for real, it was like everyone achieved nothing yet lost everything. So many players got taken out in panic, confusion. And the survivors were so lost. Even in the videos, the tempo suddenly felt.. off.

Of course like in all Life Series, the last players will PVP fight (exciting!). But then Joel wins, and it's like a melancholic, dazed ending. In a movie, I would expect Joel to stumble back to his car and drive into the sunset alone and in silence. And you leave the movie theatre thinking: "That was wild, but... huh????"
